Innovation Brings the Mustang Startup Community to a Tipping Point
SMU’s MBA Entrepreneurship Club hosted the 19th Annual Business Plan Competition at the James M. Collins Executive Education Center on March 22, 2019. The competition saw entries from SMU’s best and brightest innovators in the Cox School of Business and the Lyle School of Engineering.
“Because of the unbridled enthusiasm of Cox and Lyle competitors, we are well on our way toward cementing SMU as one of nation’s elite entrepreneurial incubators,” remarked Mac Helms, MBA Candidate, Class of 2016. “I can say proudly that SMU is becoming a focal point for entrepreneurial activity in the Southwest. ‘Differentiate or die!’ is the mantra we’ve adopted. It definitely defined the strategies for this year’s event.”
